Eating healthy foods will make us away from any kind of illness as well as make us stay physically and mentally fit. Risk of any kind of illness can be lowered. Besides, eating healthy foods can prevent obesity.

Moms, we have to teach and give to our children healthy diet everyday and make this part of their lifestyle every day.  This could make our children healthy and happy. Teenage obesity can be avoided.

Healthy diet can keep us very active and as we grow old, it can shield us from diabetes, cancer and heart diseases which are the common illness. Eating healthy foods can boost our energy level, help in the improvement of our immune system and help in the improvement of our bodily functions. Healthy diet together with exercise either in the morning or in the afternoon can lead us to have a vibrant life.

It is essential that our nutritional needs everyday is met. We should include in our daily diet, an amount of grain, vegetables, fruit, low fat dairy products, oils, beans and protein. These foods are rich in vitamins and minerals which can reduce risks of common illnesses. Fruits and vegetables have fiber contents which can give our body high nutrients and low calories. Moreover, healthy eating includes more of these: 1. Good fats like vegetable oils as sunflower, canola, peanut and olive oil for cooking, spreading, baking and frying and 2. turkey or chicken meat without skin. For snacks, just go with unsalted and plain nuts, dried or fresh fruit, popcorn provided it is air popped and raw vegetables.

Avoid fried foods, fatty and sugary foods in your diet because this will increase your weight loss. Also, avoid drinking tea and coffee because there is caffeine in these foods which are not good to our body. These have chemicals which can cause us fatigue and makes us less energetic and inactive and can just create weight gain. If we are more active, this means there is weight loss which can make us more energetic. Also avoid full fat dairy products such as full fat milk, full fat cheese, and cream and full fat ice cream.

Avoid drinking soda, energy drinks, soft drinks and beverages. It is better to drink a lot of water, diluted fruit juices and unsweetened tea because this can help down your intake of calories. We must keep our body always hydrated in order that fat and toxins will be flushed away from our body. Water is needed by our body to have healthy kidneys, lungs, liver, bones nails and teeth. It can also relieve us from our feeling of being hungry.

Healthy eating must have less of fatty meals such as salami, sausages and meats which are rich in cholesterol such as kidney and liver. Take away hamburgers, pizza, fried meat, French fries and dishes with creamy pasta.

Eating healthy diet can also reduce our stress levels especially if this is coupled with our daily exercises. We will have more energy facing our daily tasks.

A minimum of twenty minutes and a maximum of forty minutes exercise daily must be planned. This includes walking, jogging, bicycling, swimming or a body weight exercise where you can do dips, chin ups and abdominal workout.  You can also do skipping rope exercise.

To become healthy, better sleep and more rest are also essential. Avoid stress. Have fun. Enjoy life with people around you.
